PRODUCT FEATURES
What is the difference between Waush® Hypoallergenic and Waush® Ultra Fresh laundry detergents? |
Waush® Hypoallergenic and Waush® Ultra Fresh laundry detergents are very similar in cleaning power. They are both concentrated, free of fillers, and perform in any water temperature and any type of washing machine. Use from 1 oz to 1/4 oz per washload. The difference is that Waush® Hypoallergenic Laundry Detergent is free of perfume and dye, and it is recommended for people with sensitive skin. Waush® Hypoallergenic Laundry Detergent also contains natural orange oil, which aids in removing common allergens such as pollen, pet dander, and dust mite matter. Waush® Ultra Fresh Laundry Detergent is recommended for those of you who love a fresh burst of fragrance in each load. |
How much Waush® Laundry Detergent do I use? |
Both Waush® Ultra Fresh and Waush® Hypoallergenic laundry detergents have the same usage rates. Conklin's recommendations are dependent on the type of washing machine and if the customer has soft water. In Standard (top-loading) machines: Use 1 oz to 1/2 ounce of Waush® per washload. In High Efficiency (HE) (front-loading) machines: Use 1/2 oz to 1/4 oz of Waush® per washload. Reduce usage amount as needed.
For best results, add Waush® to laundry water before adding clothes if you do not have a dispenser on your washer. Use pump #078769 (gallon) or #078557 (64 oz) for dispensing. |
Why do I use such a small amount of Waush® Ultra Fresh Laundry Detergent compared to other brands? |
Waush® laundry detergents are very concentrated and contain no added fillers. This results in using less detergent per wash load. One gallon of Waush® may replace up to five bottles of a competitive brand. Conklin is proud to save customers money and play a role in in the recycling effort; since less plastic bottles used is fewer plastic containers crowding landfills. One gallon of Waush® will wash up to 256 loads of laundry using just 1/2 oz of detergent and costs less per load than the leading brand. (1/2 oz is 1 tbsp) High Efficiency (HE) washers may use only 1/4 oz per wash load. Choose from Conklin's two laundry detergent formulas: Waush® Ultra Fresh and Waush® Hypoallergenic. |
Can I use Waush® in a HE (High Efficiency) washing machine? |
Waush® Ultra Fresh and Waush® Hypoallergenic can be used in HE (High Efficiency) (front-loading) machines. Because of the concentrated cleaning power in Waush® detergents and the low water usage in HE machines, Conklin recommends the following usage rate: High Efficiency (top- or front-loading machines): Use 1/2 oz to 1/4 oz of Waush® per washload. With any High-Efficiency washer, it is recommended to leave the door open for ventilation when not in use. 1/2 oz is 1 tbsp and 1/4 ounce is 1 1/2 tsp. Use pump #078557 (64 oz) or #078769 (gallon) for dispensing. |
Which product is recommended for laundering delicate washable fabrics? |
For washing delicate fabrics, customers have two options: Spring Dew® Slice of Citrus Multipurpose Soap and Waush® laundry detergent. Spring Dew® Slice of Citrus Multipurpose Soap: Use 1 oz (2 tbsp) per gallon of warm or cold water, rinse well. Waush®: Use 1/2 oz (1 tbsp) per gallon of warm or cold water, rinse well. |
Do Conklin laundry detergents contain animal fat? |
Waush® Hypoallergenic and Waush® Ultra Fresh laundry detergent formulas do not contain any animal fats. |
