Boosts motor oil performance

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Recommended for use with any conventional motor oil. Treatment enhances oil film strength for better lubricity, reduced sludge, and varnish buildup. Adding 1 pint to every 4-6 quarts of conventional oil at each oil change helps engines run cleaner and last longer.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Recommended for use with any conventional motor oil. Treatment enhances oil film strength for better lubricity, reduced sludge, and varnish buildup. Adding 1 pint to every 4-6 quarts of conventional oil at each oil change helps engines run cleaner and last longer.

When using TKO, I noticed a slight increase in oil consumption, is this normal?
The increase in oil consumption is a result of the sludge and deposits burning off. This may occur when initially using TKO. After the initial oil change, the oil consumption should begin to taper off.

What are the benefits of TKO?

  • TKO Improves oil viscosity, lubricity, and film strength
  • Increases thermal stability and durability
  • Improves oil detergency and minimizes gum, sludge, and varnish deposits
  • Provides anti-corrosion protection
  • Extends engine oil life

How do I use TKO?
TKO is used with conventional motor oil to enhance the properties of motor oil for better lubrication, providing longer engine life.

If you are going to start using Convoy® and have not used synthetic oil in your vehicle yet, Conklin suggests using TKO when switching from conventional oil to Convoy. Add TKO at a rate of 1 pint to every 4-6 quarts of oil, running the conventional oil and TKO for one oil change. TKO will slowly clean conventional oil for at least one oil change. Then you are ready to switch to Convoy.

TKO Usage

Less than 10 quarts total oil capacity: Add 1 pint of TKO per 5 quarts of engine oil

More than 10 quarts total oil capacity: Add 1 pint of TKO per 6 quarts of engine oil

HOW TO CONVERT TO CONVOY

  • If your vehicle has less than 20,000 miles on it, use Convoy.
  • If your vehicle has 20,000-100,000 miles on it, run TKO and conventional motor oil for 3,000 miles before adding Convoy.
  • For engines over 100,000 miles, it may be necessary to run TKO for more than the one oil change interval.
  • Do not exceed two treatments per oil change
  • Use only in internal combustion engines
  • Use only with conventional oil
  • Use every oil change
  • Do NOT use TKO with Convoy or any other semi, para, or full synthetic engine oil

Can TKO be used with synthetic oil?
TKO is formulated to enhance the performance of conventional motor oils. It is not recommended to be used with synthetic, semisynthetic, or parasynthetic oils. It may increase the viscosity if used with a synthetic, semisynthetic, or parasynthetic oil.
